Patrons & Sponsors

If you’re lucky enough to have had skiing or ski racing in your life, you’ll already know about the enjoyment and adventure it brings – but it offers so much more. A childhood that involves ski racing yields long-lasting benefits, with a variety of skills learned that have a lasting impact on young people and how they live their lives.

The Ski Racing Community

The race-training environment generates friendships, team spirit and a sense of purpose, plus the opportunity to build confidence, discover independence and self-reliance, and carve out an identity within a much-loved sport.

ATC is seeking committed Patrons to join the ATC Charity so that we can continue to make a genuine difference to young kids’ lives through ski racing.

What we do

ATC organises not-for-profit racing camps, fully managed and coached by us, and open to kids aged 10 to 16. Young racers on ATC camps work hard, but our coaches are also trained to nurture values such as friendship, positivity, teamwork and being a good sport. Training and competing in a sport that involves risk and takes place in extreme environments creates resilience, character and a quiet confidence in kids.

The ATC Charity and our racing camps are for kids who are passionate about ski racing. For kids willing to put in the effort, ATC camps are places where young people make lifelong friendships, learn to overcome challenges, and make a difference to the lives of those around them.

The ATC Charity also supports ski clubs who don’t have the resources to run their own camps, and offers ad hoc assistance to ski organisations around the country.

We are looking for committed Patrons and Sponsors to join the ATC charity so that we can continue to make a genuine difference to young kids’ lives through ski racing.

  • Patrons directly support the ATC bursary programme. They are passionate people who understand the amazing benefits that a life in skiing can bring.

  • Ideally we are seeking a minimum of a 3-year commitment from patrons.

Patron FAQs

Q: Can my company become an ATC patron?

A: Yes patrons can be people or companies.

Q: Where does the money go?

A: The money you donate as a patron will go directly towards helping kids via an ATC bursary. The funds can be directed into a bursary which already exists, or if you are a Gold Patron you can start and design a new bursary, deciding such factors as the criteria on which it would be awarded, the duration, the number of recipients, etc. (in line with ATC values and charitable aims)

Q: How does the charity cover it’s core costs?

A: When a donation is made to the charity and it is eligible for Gift Aid, the charity retains the Gift Aid to cover core costs such as administration, insurance, and equipment for the camps. This means that if you donate £8000, all of that money would go to the bursary programme and the Gift Aid would go to covering the charity overheads. If donations are not eligible for Gift Aid, the Charity retains 20% of the donation to cover our core costs
