ATC SCIO - Narrowing the focus increasing the quality
ATC Camps
The Alpine Training Centre SCIO (ATC) is a registered Charity set up to support young ski racers. In addition to fund raising and providing bursaries, ATC is also committed to providing high quality coaching and racing camps. This year we are offering a fully residential pre-season camp in October.
ATC October Camp 2023
Hintertux, Austria (2-week camp)
October 7th-20th Limited space
October 22nd-28th (If you are interested in booking on this week please contact us)
This is an open camp for a limited number of young ski racers aged 10 to 15 years old. The coaching team for this camp are the best most experienced you will find, including British Team members, Olympians and National Team coaches. Learning how to go faster, adjusting you tactics and building strong technical foundations are all important focus areas for all developing our young athletes.
The camp is run on a not for profit basis. This means that all of the camp fees go towards making the training camp and overall experience as good as it can be for the racers. For example we operate with very low coach to athlete ratio, this means that each racer can have more personalised direction from their coach.
We will offer accompanied travel (Easyjet) out on the 7th and returning on the 20th of October from Edinburgh to Munich.
Coaching
Calum Shepherd, Eilidh McLoud and former Team GB coach and Olympian Andrew Freshwater will be the coaching team for this camp . We also have support from some of our GB Team athletes to inspire and motivate the kids on the October camp.
How to book
£1500 per week fully residential / £500 per week training only
